Visitor Information & FAQs

The best time to visit our lavender farm in New Zealand is during our season from December to the end of January, when the fields are full of color and fragrance. Full blooms typically occur between mid-December and mid-January, but bloom times may vary each year due to weather and climate conditions. This is the ideal time to experience our pick-your-own lavender activity, walk through the fields, and enjoy the fresh lavender scent. For the latest bloom updates, field conditions, and seasonal events, visit our Summer Activities section or check our Facebook updates before planning your trip.

Our farm is a privately-owned area open to flower-lovers from all over the world. To ensure a peaceful experience for all visitors, we do not allow pets in our fields. Wedding photos are not permitted during business hours, and we ask that you refrain from wearing wedding dresses or similar attire. Additionally, commercial photography and aerial photos (including drones) are not allowed. If you wish to arrange any wedding-related photos or professional photography, please contact us via email to inquire and book in advance.

No outside food is allowed on the farm. However, we do have a coffee trailer and real fruit ice cream available for you to enjoy during your visit. Treat yourself to a delicious beverage or a refreshing ice cream while you explore the lavender fields.

Yes, our lavender flowers attract bees, especially during the summer months, as they collect nectar and contribute to pollination. While we don’t have bee hives on the farm, the bees are usually busy working and tend to avoid visitors if left undisturbed. However, if you are allergic to bee stings, please exercise caution and consider consulting with your doctor before visiting. For your safety, we also recommend wearing shoes, as bees may be found in the clover along the grass paths.
